Erin Elizabeth

Above all, a survivor…

Hey there! I’m Erin. I’m a wife, mother of two girls, and a dog mom. I am a faith driven writer and podcast host who finds joy in painting pictures with the use of words. I’ve contributed my writings over the years to This Mama Wines, The Crunchy Mommy, Black and Well, Mess in a Bottle, and Hope in Her to name a few.

After undergoing the process of mending the wounds of traumatic experiences that include domestic abuse, divorce, childhood trauma, and mother wounds, my desire is to encourage other women to discover their strength through their own past traumatic experiences.

I’m an advocate for self-care and inner healing. Inspired by my own story, I’ve chosen to share my life’s narrative one testimony at a time while expressing what healing looks like with every keystroke and mic check. When we find the strength within ourselves we have the innate ability to fight battles and pursue greatness we never thought we would.

more about me

I eat peanut butter by the spoon and enjoy streaming binge-worthy TV shows. I also like to tilt my head back and laugh. Life’s too serious not show my teeth.  I am a writer who loves to paint pictures with the use of words. I am a digital content creator, podcaster and soon to be author. I am a believer in Christ, encourager, Type One Diabetic, and I even answer to Mom sometimes as I continue to master motherhood as a single mama. Above all, I’m simply Erin.

It’s taken me a long walk on my journey of self-discovery to realize that I am not defined by the expectations of others. I know who am and whose I am and that’s all that matters. This is not your typical “mom blog.” I created this platform to share my life’s narrative one testimony at a time.

After undergoing the process of healing through past traumatic experiences via abuse, divorce, childhood trauma, and motherwounds, my desire is to encourage other women to overcome their obstacles while continuing to push forward despite their circumstance.

When we find the strength within ourselves we have the innate ability to fight battles and pursue greatness we never thought we would. Together we can discover our strength through travesty.

“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.”
